Cincinnati Bengals player notes for Nov 21st, 2018


Aaron Wallace – Noteworthy – Transaction
LB Aaron Wallace was signed by the Bengals to their practice squad Tuesday (Nov. 20). He had been waived by the Titans Sept. 18. Wallace (6-2, 242; UCLA), a third-year player, was originally a seventh-round draft pick of the Tennessee Titans in 2016. He played in 13 career games for the Titans and totaled 17 tackles and a sack before being waived in September of this year.

Andrew Brown – Noteworthy – Injury – Transaction
DT Andrew Brown was placed on practice squad/injured by the Bengals Tuesday (Nov. 20). Brown, who has been on the practice squad all season, suffered a hand injury in practice on Nov. 15.

Kasim Edebali – Noteworthy – Transaction
DE Kasim Edebali was signed by the Bengals Tuesday (Nov. 20). His contract had been terminated by the Bears Sept. 1. Edebali (6-2, 253; Boston College), a fifth-year player, was originally a college free agent of the New Orleans Saints in 2014. He played three seasons (2014-16) with the Saints, before spending time in 2017 with the Broncos, Lions and Rams, and then rejoining the Saints late in the season. Edebali was waived by the Saints in May, and then spent preseason with the Bears before being released at cuts to 53. He has played in 61 career games, and has 55 tackles, including eight sacks, with three passes defensed and a forced fumble. Edebali has been listed at linebacker in previous stops, however the Bengals will list him at defensive end.

Preston Brown – Important – Injury – Transaction
LB Preston Brown (knee) was placed on reserve/injured by the Bengals Tuesday (Nov. 20). He is eligible to be designated for return and begin practicing after missing at least six weeks and can play after eight weeks, but only if the Bengals qualify for the playoffs. He would be eligible to play in the conference championship game. Brown, who had played in and started seven games this season, had 42 tackles (27 solo), two sacks and four passes defensed. He suffered a knee injury in Game 9 vs. New Orleans.
