Chase Daniel – Important
QB Chase Daniel is expected to be under center when the Chicago Bears visit the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving, multiple media outlets reported on Wednesday. Fellow quarterback Mitchell Trubisky officially was listed as doubtful after sustaining an injury to his throwing shoulder following a late hit by safety Harrison Smith during the fourth quarter of Sunday night’s 25-20 win over the Minnesota Vikings. Daniel hasn’t started an NFL game since the 2014 season. He has completed 51 of 78 passes for 480 yards with a touchdown and an interception during his nine-year career.

Cody Parkey – Important
K Cody Parkey was named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week after kicking three field goals in Sunday night’s 25-20 victory over the Minnesota Vikings.

QB Mitchell Trubisky was listed as doubtful for Thursday’s game versus the Detroit Lions. Quarterback Chase Daniel is expected to be under center for the contest, multiple media outlets reported on Wednesday. Trubisky sustained an injury to his throwing shoulder following a late hit by safety Harrison Smith during the fourth quarter of Sunday night’s 25-20 win over the Minnesota Vikings. Trubisky, 24, has an AC sprain in his throwing shoulder and not a labrum issue, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported.
