Aaron Lynch – Noteworthy – Injury
LB Aaron Lynch missed practice on Wednesday because of a sprained right elbow suffered against the Packers.

Aaron Lynch – Noteworthy – Injury
DE Aaron Lynch (elbow) suffered a right elbow injury against Green Bay and is unlikely to play in Sunday’s game with the 49ers.

Deon Bush – Noteworthy
S Deon Bush will make his first start since 2016 with Eddie Jackson sidelined. Bush is confident he’s a different player than when he was forced to start those six games as a rookie due to injuries in the secondary. “I’ve been here for three years so I know a lot more than I knew in the past,” Bush said. “And I’m just going out there and just playing fast right now.”

Eddie Jackson – Important – Injury
S Eddie Jackson limped around in the locker room this week with a boot cast on his right foot and ankle. He won’t play against the 49ers and most likely against the Vikings in the regular-season finale. The hope is he might be ready for a wild-card round playoff game.

Eddie Jackson – Noteworthy – Injury
S Eddie Jackson of the Chicago Bears did not practice on Wednesday after sustaining an ankle injury last Sunday in a victory over the Green Bay Packers.
Head coach Matt Nagy, who said Jackson sprained his right ankle on a play in which he intercepted a pass by Aaron Rodgers later in the game, told reporters that the Bears’ medical team would monitor the injury over the next few days to see if he can play on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. “We gotta take into consideration our situation, of where we are at,” said Nagy, whose Bears (10-4) have clinched the NFC North title and have a chance in the last two games to wrap up a bye in the first round of the playoffs. Nagy said that he hopes Jackson, who on Tuesday was named to the NFC team for the Pro Bowl in only his second NFL season, will be able to practice later in the week if he is healthy but that he won’t be rushed back.

Kyle Long – Noteworthy – Injury
G Kyle Long (foot) could return to practice with the team later this week, although this hasn’t been guaranteed. Head coach Matt Nagy suggested it’s possible. The Bears are hoping to activate Long off injured reserve so he’s available for the playoffs. He had been injured Nov. 2.
