*Curtis Samuel – Noteworthy – Injury
WR Curtis Samuel joined the midweek injury report and missed practice with what’s listed as a hamstring ailment.

Devin Funchess – Noteworthy – Injury
WR Devin Funchess remains the team leader among receivers with 41 receptions despite missing the Seattle game with a back ailment.
He wasn’t back to participating in practice by midweek in advance of the game at Tampa Bay.

Donte Jackson – Noteworthy – Injury
CB Donte Jackson (quad) didn’t return to action after leaving with a leg injury in the Seattle game.
He has done some work on the side at practice and it looks like it might not be until the weekend until his status for the Tampa Bay game is clarified.

Da’Norris Searcy – Important – Injury – Transaction
S Da’Norris Searcy was designated for return from reserve/injured by the Panthers Wednesday (Nov. 28). He is eligible to be activated to play in immediately, but can practice for a maximum of 21 days.

Josh Thornton – Noteworthy – Transaction
CB Josh Thornton was signed by the Panthers to their practice squad Wednesday (Nov. 28). He had been waived from reserve/injured with an injury settlement by the Texans Aug. 31. Thornton was an undrafted free agent out of Southern Utah and signed with Detroit in 2017. He spent time on the Baltimore and Houston practice squads last season.
