Kelvin Benjamin – Noteworthy
WR Kelvin Benjamin his longest reception of the season, a 39-yarder in the third quarter, but he caught only one other pass in the loss to Houston and finished with 43 yards receiving.
Kyle Williams – Noteworthy
DT Kyle Williams had a fantastic game against Houston as he had two sacks, another QB hit, and forced a fumble.
LeSean McCoy – Noteworthy
RB LeSean McCoy carried 16 times for 73 yards and had a 14-yard run Sunday at Houston. He also caught three passes for 21 yards.
Lorenzo Alexander – Noteworthy
LB Lorenzo Alexander was also a key player on defense Sunday against Houston as he was in on two sacks, intercepted a pass and had four total tackles.
Ray Ray McCloud – Noteworthy
PR Ray Ray McCloud had a tough day against the Texans. He fumbled the opening kickoff, though the Bills recovered, and then he muffed a punt which the Bills did not recover. That set up Houston’s only offensive touchdown of the game. He was benched thereafter.
Trent Murphy – Noteworthy – Injury
DE Trent Murphy sat out a few plays with an ankle injury Sunday at Houston. Head coach Sean McDermott said he would be day-to-day this week at practice.
Vladimir Ducasse – Noteworthy – Injury
G Vlad Ducasse is listed as day-to-day after suffering a knee injury against Houston.
Zay Jones – Noteworthy
WR Zay Jones played 94 percent of the snaps Sunday at Houston, signaling that he may be considered the Bills’ No. 1 receiver as Kelvin Benjamin was on the field for 71 percent. Jones caught Nathan Peterman’s TD pass and had three catches for 35 yards.
