Larry Fitzgerald – Noteworthy – Injury
WR Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday, but coach Steve Wilks said the veteran was mostly held out for precautionary reasons to give Fitzgerald some extra rest. Fitzgerald needs one reception to have at least one catch in 215 consecutive games, which would be the second-longest reception streak in NFL history behind Jerry Rice (274). That’s the third-longest such streak in the NFL among active defensive backs behind only the Baltimore Ravens’ Brandon Carr (165) and the Detroit Lions’ Grover Quin (135). Peterson is the first Cardinals’ player since at least 1970 to start 100 or more consecutive games to begin his career.

K Phil Dawson needs one more field goal will to ahead of Jason Elam (436) for the eighth-most in NFL history.

DE Ufomba Kamalu was signed by the Cardinals to the practice squad Tuesday (Sept. 25). He had been waived by the Texans Sept. 1. Kamalu (6-6, 295) has played in 13 career games (three starts) with Houston and has 11 tackles, three sacks and five tackles for loss after entering the league with the Texans as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2016 out of the University of Miami. A three-year NFL veteran, Kamalu played in nine games (two starts) with Houston last season and had two sacks and six tackles.
