Jalen Simmons – Noteworthy – Transaction
RB Jalen Simmons was signed by the Cardinals to the practice squad Wednesday (Sept. 19). He had been waived by the Giants Sept. 1. Simmons (5-7, 213) has spent time on the practice squads of the Panthers and Chargers after entering the league with Carolina as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2016 out of South Carolina State. He was with the Giants during the preseason until he was released on September 2. Simmons played in 44 games (37 starts) at South Carolina State and was a two-time All-Mid Eastern Athletic Conference selection after running for 2,618 yards and 17 touchdowns on 554 carries
