*Robert Nkemdiche – Noteworthy – Injury
DT Robert Nkemdiche (foot) missed practice Friday after having injury issues during the week and was inactive against San Francisco last week. His availability this week at Minnesota is questionable.
Andre Smith – Noteworthy – Injury
RT Andre Smith has been hampered by an elbow injury most of the season, but he is now suffering from a hamstring pull. He only played in 67 percent of the snaps against San Francisco last week.
Kendall Wright – Noteworthy – Transaction
WR Kendall Wright was signed Monday to a one-year contract. To make room on the roster, the Cardinals released cornerback Deatrick Nichols. In six years, Wright has played in 82 games. He has 339 receptions for 3,858 yards (averaging 11.4 yards per catch) and 19 touchdowns. The Baylor product was drafted by the Titans in the first round of the 2012 draft. He spent five seasons in Tennessee, a season in Chicago, and had most recently been signed by the Vikings, before he was cut on Sept. 1.
Kendall Wright – Important – Transaction
WR Kendall Wright was signed by the Cardinals Monday (Oct. 8). Wright (5-10, 185) is a six-year NFL veteran who has played in 82 games (45 starts) in his career and has 339 receptions for 3,858 yards (11.4 yard avg.) and 19 touchdowns. The 28-year old Wright played all 16 games (four starts) last season with the Bears and had 59 receptions for 614 yards and one touchdown. He has at least 50 receptions and 500 receiving yards in four of his six NFL seasons.
Wright spent his first five seasons in the league with Tennessee after being selected by the Titans in the first-round (20thoverall) of the 2012 NFL Draft out of Baylor. He totaled 280 receptions for 3,244 yards and 18 touchdowns during his tenure (2012-16) with the Titans. Wright signed with Minnesota in the offseason, but was released on September 1.
G/T Bryan Witzmann was signed by the Bears Monday (Oct. 8). His contract had been terminated by the Vikings Friday.
Larry Fitzgerald – Noteworthy – Injury
WR Larry Fitzgerald, who has been nursing a hamstring pull, was targeted only three times Sunday. He had two receptions for 35 yards.
Markus Golden – Noteworthy – Injury
DE Markus Golden was also inactive against the 49ers because of a knee injury. He also missed practice last week and his status for Sunday’s game against the Vikings is undetermined.
