Gabe Holmes – Noteworthy – Transaction
TE Gabe Holmes was signed by the Cardinals to their practice squad Thursday (Nov. 1). He had been waived by the Cardinals Tuesday. Holmes (6-5, 255) played in eight games (four starts) with the Cardinals this season prior to being released. He originally joined Arizona’s practice squad last year and played in two games in 2017 with the Cardinals after being elevated to the active roster. Holmes entered the league in 2015 with Oakland as an undrafted rookie free agent from Purdue and split his rookie season between the Raiders active roster and practice squad. He also has spent time on the practice squads of the Seahawks and Ravens.
