Arizona Cardinals player notes for Dec 4th, 2018


*Daniel Braverman – Noteworthy – Transaction
WR Daniel Braverman was signed by the Cardinals to their practice squad Tuesday (Dec. 4). He had been waived by the Chiefs Sept. 1. Braverman (5-10, 185) played in three games with the Bears as a rookie in 2016 after entering the league with Chicago as a seventh-round selection (230th overall) in the 2016 draft out of Western Michigan. He also spent time with the Chiefs practice squad last season and was elevated to Kansas City’s active roster, but didn’t play. Braverman was released by Kansas City at the end of the preseason this year.

Jalen Tolliver – Noteworthy – Transaction
WR Jalen Tolliver was signed by the Cardinals from their practice squad Tuesday (Dec. 4). Tolliver (6-3, 210) was on the Cardinals active roster in Week 12 prior to being waived on November 24. He originally signed with the Cardinals in May as an undrafted rookie free agent from the University of Arkansas-Monticello and has spent this season on Arizona’s practice squad. Tolliver led all of Division II in 2017 with 16 touchdown catches on 67 receptions for 1,109 yards (16.5-yard average) and finished his college career with 192 receptions for 3,168 yards and 39 touchdowns in 42 games.

Mike Iupati – Noteworthy – Injury – Transaction
G Mike Iupati (knee) was placed on reserve/injured by the Cardinals Tuesday (Dec. 4).

Olsen Pierre – Noteworthy – Injury – Transaction
DT Olsen Pierre (knee) was placed on reserve/injured by the Cardinals Tuesday (Dec. 4).

Rick Leonard – Noteworthy – Injury – Transaction
T Rick Leonard was placed on practice squad/injured by the Cardinals Tuesday (Dec. 4).

Vontarrius Dora – Noteworthy – Transaction
LB Vontarrius Dora was signed by the Cardinals from their practice squad Tuesday (Dec. 4). Dora (6-4, 256) spent Week 11 on the Cardinals active roster after getting promoted from the practice squad, but didn’t play against Oakland. He re-joined the Cardinals practice squad on October 30 after spending the preseason with the team prior to being waived/injured on September 2. Dora originally joined the Cardinals practice squad in 2017 after playing in one game as a rookie in 2016 with the Denver Broncos. He entered the league with the Broncos in 2016 as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Louisiana Tech and spent time on the practice squads of the Broncos and Colts before joining the Cardinals.
