DT Robert Nkemdiche (knee) was placed on reserve/injured by the Cardinals Tuesday (Dec. 11). He will miss the remainder of the 2018 season.
*Vincent Valentine – Noteworthy – Transaction
DT Vincent Valentine was signed by the Cardinals Tuesday (Dec. 11) from the Seahawks practice squad. Valentine (6-3, 315) is back with the Cardinals after spending three weeks on Arizona’s practice squad earlier this season. He entered the league with the Patriots as a third-round selection (96th overall) in the 2016 NFL Draft out of Nebraska. The 24-year old Valentine played in 13 games (two starts) and had 19 tackles and a sack as a rookie with the Patriots before missing the majority of last season on injured reserve. He was with the Patriots practice squad this year and signed with Seattle’s practice squad on December 4.
Jonathan Anderson – Noteworthy – Transaction
LB Jonathan Anderson was signed by the Cardinals Tuesday (Dec. 11). He had been waived from reserve/injured by the Cardinals Sept. 24. Anderson (6-1, 237) played the past three seasons with Chicago and appeared in 31 games (three starts), collecting 47 tackles (35 solo), one interception, five passes defensed and 14 special teams tackles. He entered the league with the Bears as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2015 out of TCU and played in 11 games (three starts) as a rookie. The 27-year old Anderson played 12 games last season for Chicago.
Justin Evans – Noteworthy – Transaction
G Justin Evans was signed by the Cardinals to their practice squad Tuesday (Dec. 11). He had been waived by the Redskins Nov. 6. Evans (6-5, 310) entered the league in May with Baltimore as an undrafted rookie free agent from South Carolina State. After being released by the Ravens following the preseason, he spent time on Washington’s practice squad.
Thurston Armbrister – Important – Injury – Transaction
LB Thurston Armbrister (hamstring) was placed on reserve/injured by the Cardinals Tuesday (Dec. 11). He will miss the remainder of the 2018 season.
