GAME BREAKDOWN

KEY MATCHUP: Virginia’s offensive line vs. Duke’s front seven. While the Blue Devils have just 13 sacks and three interceptions on the season, they have shown the ability to disrupt opposing team’s quarterbacks. The Cavaliers have struggled on offense the last two games while relying on a stingy defense in their win over Miami. If Virginia cannot handle Duke’s defensive line up, quarterback Bryce Perkins might be in for another long day after two straight games with two or more interceptions.

DRAFT SLANT

–DB Bryce Hall continues to show his speed, strength and tackling ability as he racked up four tackles, including three solo, against Miami. One of those solo drag-downs might have saved Virginia’s season as Hall ran down Miami running back Travis Homer from over 30 yards away, saving a would-be touchdown and forcing the Hurricanes to settle for a field goal later in the drive.

ROSTER REPORT

–K Brian Delaney has officially been named Virginia’s starting kicker after the Cavaliers used two other kickers earlier this season. Delaney went 3-for-3 on field goals in his season debut against Miami.
