GAME BREAKDOWN
KEY MATCHUP: Florida pass defense vs. Vanderbilt senior QB Kyle Shurmur. Shurmur, the son of New York Giants coach Pat Shurmur, has passed for 1,400 yards and nine TDs this season and is one of the most underrated QBs in SEC. Florida leads the SEC in sacks (20) and pass defense (147.8 yards allowed), so expect the Gators to bring pressure against Shurmur early and often. Shurmur passed for 264 yards and three TDs against the Gators last season.
DRAFT SLANT: Redshirt junior DL Jabari Zuniga continued his bounce-back season with five tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss and one sack against LSU. The 6-foot-4, 257-pound Zuniga is flourishing as an edge rusher in defensive coordinator Todd Grantham’s scheme this season with 22 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks this season.
