GAME BREAKDOWN
KEY MATCHUP: Louisville’s defensive line has looked porous so far this season. They are not stopping the run and are getting very little pressure on the quarterback so far this season. FSU’s offensive line hasn’t been much better with nine different players starting a game so far this season. Whichever unit can pull it together with solid play will likely win the game for their team Saturday.
DRAFT SLANT
–OT Mekhi Becton is a physical freak at 6-foot-7, 355 pounds and near 20-percent body fat, one of the fittest linemen on the roster. He flashed his athleticism vs. Indiana State with a 1-yard rushing touchdown where he leaped over the blockers and crossed the plane of the goal line on top of the pile. He won’t be draft eligible until 2020, but he has the potential to be a No. 1 overall lineman drafted if he continues to progress.
ROSTER REPORT:
–Starting DE Jonathan Greenard is out “for a while” (per coach Bobby Petrino) with a wrist injury
–Starting FB Tobias Little is out for the season with a knee injury suffered in fall camp.
–Starting LB Dorian Etheridge is questionable for this week.
–Starting RB Trey Smith missed parts of three games, but returned last week vs. Virginia
–Reserve LB London Iakopo left the WKU game on a stretcher and is questionable this week.
–Starting RB Dae Williams suffered a bone bruise on the first play vs. Virginia; he is probable vs. FSU.
