The New York Yankees placed second baseman Rougned Odor on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a left knee sprain.
An MRI reportedly revealed no structural damage, according to ESPN.
Odor, 27, was removed in the sixth inning of Tuesday night’s 7-3 win against Houston after colliding with Astros catcher Martin Maldonado at home plate.
Acquired in a trade with Texas in April, Odor is batting .164 (10-for-61) with four homers and 11 RBIs in 19 games this season.
He played his first seven seasons with the Rangers, batting .237 with 146 home runs and 458 RBIs in 858 games from 2014-20.
The Yankees recalled right-hander Albert Abreu from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to replace Odor on the 26-man roster.
