Wisconsin linebacker Christian Bell is transferring for a second time.
Bell, who transferred from Alabama to the Badgers in 2016, entered the NCAA transfer database Friday and will have one season of immediate eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer.
“With multiple meetings and conversation with my family and coaches I have decided to transfer and be a grad transfer,” he posted on Twitter.
Bell appeared in 24 games over the past three seasons with Wisconsin, tallying eight tackles, two tackles for loss, two sacks and one forced fumble.
Originally a three-star recruit in the Crimson Tide’s Class of 2016, Bell participated in spring practice that year with Alabama before deciding to transfer. He sat out the 2016 season under NCAA rules.
