UCLA WR Howard transfers to Oklahoma

UCLA wide receiver Theo Howard is transferring to Oklahoma.

Howard, who made the announcement via Instagram on Thursday, ranked second on the Bruins with 51 catches for 677 yards and four touchdowns in 2018, but was limited by wrist and hand injuries and appeared in only one game in 2019 — against the Sooners.

Howard played in 33 games for UCLA, tallying 119 receptions for 1,359 yards and nine touchdowns.

Oklahoma is looking to restock at the receiver position.

Top pass-catcher CeeDee Lamb is headed to the NFL after totaling 127 receptions for 2,485 yards and 25 touchdowns the past two seasons for the Sooners. Lamb averaged 21.4 yards per catch in 2019.
