Stanford LT Little to return for senior year

Stanford left tackle Walker Little announced Monday he will return for his senior season in 2020 after his junior year ended in the first game because of a knee injury.

He was a 2019 Associated Press preseason All-American and was considered a potential 2020 first-round NFL draft pick before the injury.

In 2017, Little became the first true freshman to start at left tackle for Stanford since 2000, and he earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors in 2018.

“I’m excited to announce that I’m coming back for my senior season,” he wrote on Twitter. “I’m excited to earn my degree from Stanford University and ready to win with my brothers!”

Stanford was 4-8 this season, missing the postseason for the first time since 2008.
