Potential first-round cornerback Paulson Adebo will remain at Stanford for the 2020 season.
ESPN’s Mel Kiper has the two-time All-Pac-12 first team selection ranked No. 14 overall on his “Big Board” for April’s NFL draft. He is ranked No. 2 by Kiper among draft-eligible cornerbacks behind Ohio State’s Jeff Okudah.
The school announced Adebo’s decision in a press release Friday.
Adebo has eight interceptions and 38 passes defensed in 22 games (21 starts) over the past two seasons with the Cardinal.
He set a school record with 24 passes defensed in 2018. He finished 2019 with 33 tackles and four interceptions in nine games before suffering a season-ending injury.
