Seattle Seahawks running backs Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde were listed as inactive for Sunday’s home game against the San Francisco 49ers.
The Seahawks (5-1) also ruled out safety Jamal Adams, who will miss his fourth consecutive game with a groin injury.
Carson initially was listed as questionable to face the 49ers (4-3). He injured his foot during the first half of Seattle’s 37-34 loss in overtime to Arizona last Sunday.
Carson has 323 rushing yards and three touchdowns. He also has three more scores as a receiver.
Hyde, who was listed as doubtful, will not play due to a hamstring injury.
Seattle is expected to rely on Travis Homer and rookie fourth-round pick DeeJay Dallas in the backfield on Sunday.
The Seahawks also ruled out guard Mike Iupati, cornerback Shaquill Griffin, safety Ugo Amadi and defensive end Benson Mayowa.
San Francisco quarterback CJ Beathard, wide receivers Deebo Samuel and Richie James, linebacker Kwon Alexander, safety Jaquiski Tartt and cornerback Ken Webster are inactive for Sunday’s contest.
