Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander Nabil Crismatt was designated for assignment Friday, while right-hander Bryce Jarvis was recalled from Triple-A Reno.
Crismatt, 30, was 3-0 with a 3.71 ERA in eight appearances (five starts) for Arizona this season. His final appearance with the club came Thursday when he pitched three innings in relief against the Los Angeles Dodgers and was tagged for seven runs (five earned).
In six seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals (2020), San Diego Padres (2021-23), Diamondbacks (2023, 2025) and Los Angeles Dodgers (2024), Crismatt has gone 12-6 with a 3.71 ERA in 122 appearances (six starts).
Jarvis, 27, has a 6.10 ERA in 11 relief appearances for the Diamondbacks earlier this season.
