Reports: Chargers acquire Odafe Oweh from Ravens

The Los Angeles Chargers acquired standout edge rusher Odafe Oweh from the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday, according to multiple reports.

Oweh and a seventh-round pick in 2027 were reportedly sent to the Chargers for safety Alohi Gilman and a fifth-round pick in 2026.

Oweh recorded a career-best 10 sacks last season but hasn’t reached the quarterback in five games this year. He had 23 sacks in 67 games (25 starts) for the Ravens since joining the club as a first-round draft choice (31st overall) in 2021.

Oweh, 26, goes from playing for one coaching Harbaugh brother (John) to competing for another (Jim).

Gilman, 28, started all five games for the Chargers this season and had 22 tackles and three passes defensed. He has 252 tackles, five interceptions, four forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries in 73 games (39 starts) over six NFL seasons.

Gilman was a sixth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
