The Tennessee Titans released defensive end Brent Urban, according to a report by ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Saturday.
The Titans have yet to announce the transaction for Urban, who started all 16 games in 2018 for the Baltimore Ravens before signing a one-year, $1.3 million contract with Tennessee in the offseason.
The Titans’ reported decision to move on from Urban will cost the Ravens a fourth-round compensatory pick next year, as the 28-year-old will have been released prior to Week 10.
Urban did not record any statistics despite playing in four of Tennessee’s first six games this season.
The 6-foot-7, 300-pound Urban collected 52 tackles and 3.5 sacks in 45 career games with the Ravens and Titans.
