The Dallas Cowboys are expected to be without starting left tackle Tyron Smith when they host the Washington Redskins on Sunday in their regular season finale, according to a report by NFL Network’s Jane Slater.
Smith missed three days of practice this week due to a back injury and was listed as questionable. Smith will likely test his back in pregame drills before making a final decision.
The 29-year-old Smith, a seven-time Pro Bowl selection, went through a similar routine when the Cowboys faced the New York Jets earlier this season and ended up on the inactive list.
Also listed as questionable for the Cowboys are cornerback Byron Jones (ankle) and defensive lineman Antwaun Woods (hip/ankle).
Dallas needs a win over Washington and a Philadelphia Eagles’ loss in order to make the playoffs.
