Pirates activate OF Dickerson, 3B Kang

The Pittsburgh Pirates activated outfielder Corey Dickerson and third baseman Jung Ho Kang from the 10-day injured list on Saturday.

Dickerson has played in just four games this season due to a right shoulder injury. The 30-year-old was an All-Star for the Tampa Bay Rays in 2017 before being traded to the Pirates prior to the start of the 2018 season.

Kang, 32, has been sidelined with a left side strain. He is batting just .133 with four homers, eight RBIs and 31 strikeouts in 90 at-bats.

Pittsburgh also placed right-hander Rookie Davis (middle finger blister) on the 10-day IL, recalled righty Michael Feliz from Triple-A Indianapolis, optioned infielder Cole Tucker to Indianapolis and designated right-hander Nick Kingham for assignment.

The 26-year-old Davis is 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA in five appearances (one start) for the Pirates, Feliz was 2-1 with an 8.25 ERA in 12 appearances (one start) for Pittsburgh earlier this season and the 22-year-old Tucker batted .196 with two homers and nine RBIs in 38 games for the Pirates.

Kingham, 27, was 1-1 with a 9.87 ERA in 14 appearances (four starts) for Pittsburgh. He is 6-8 with a 6.67 ERA in 32 appearances (19 starts) over parts of two seasons with the Pirates.
