The Philadelphia Phillies activated utility man Sean Rodriguez from the 10-day injured list Wednesday and placed utility man Brad Miller on the IL.
Rodriguez, 34, has been out since July 7 because of a right abdominal strain. He is batting .224 in 35 games this season with two home runs and eight RBIs.
Miller, 29, is batting .234 for the Cleveland Indians and Phillies this season with four home runs and 11 RBIs. He is dealing with a right hip flexor strain. He started the season with the Indians and signed with New York Yankees after he was released. His contract was purchased by the Phillies on June 13.
