New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman was a limited participant in Thursday’s practice.
Edelman’s participation level is considered a positive after the reigning Super Bowl MVP did not practice on Wednesday. He is listed with knee and shoulder injuries.
Edelman, who has yet to miss a game this season, leads the team in receptions (90), receiving yards (1,010) and receiving touchdowns (six). The 33-year-old reeled in eight catches for 95 yards and a score in Sunday’s 23-16 setback to Kansas City.
While fellow wideout Mohamed Sanu (ankle) was listed as limited on Thursday, there is cause for concern regarding Isaiah Wynn. The mammoth left tackle was held out of Thursday’s practice with an eye injury.
The Patriots (10-3) can punch their ticket to the postseason with a win or a tie against the host Cincinnati Bengals (1-12) on Sunday (1 p.m. ET).
