Michigan standout center Cesar Ruiz announced Friday that he is bypassing his senior season to enter the 2020 NFL Draft.
Ruiz revealed his decision on Twitter.
“Since the day I touched a football I knew I wanted to play in the National Football League,” Ruiz wrote. “It’s always been my dream, and now I am ready to make my dream a reality. I will be foregoing my senior season and declaring for the 2020 NFL draft.”
The 6-foot-4, 319-pound Ruiz started five games at guard as a freshman in 2017 before moving to the starting center spot the past two seasons. He was a second team all-conference selection by Big Ten Conference coaches.
