The Seattle Mariners acquired right-hander Justin Topa from Milwaukee on Saturday in exchange for minor league pitcher Joseph Hernandez.
The team also came to terms on a one-year, $7 million deal with outfielder A.J. Pollock, ESPN reported late Saturday night. The contract is pending a physical.
Topa, 31, went 0-0 with a 4.91 ERA in seven relief appearances for the Brewers this past season.
Topa was on the injured list with a right forearm flexor strain from the start of the season through Aug. 12, making his season debut with the Brewers on Sept. 9.
Hernandez, 22, went 9-5 with a 3.39 ERA for Class-A Modesto in 2022, striking out 143 batters in 116 2/3 innings.
Pollock, 35, batted .245 with 14 home runs and 56 RBIs with the Chicago White Sox last season. He’s a career .276 hitter with 140 home runs and 122 stolen bases in 11 seasons with three teams, including Arizona from 2012-18.
