Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson avoided a serious injury but is considered day-to-day with an ailing foot, ESPN reported Monday.
Robinson sustained a bruised heel in Sunday’s loss at Seattle. Robinson played just eight snaps, rushing four times for 22 yards before colliding with a piece of equipment on the sidelines. He also caught a pass for 17 yards.
Carlos Hyde replaced Robinson and rushed for 32 yards on nine carries. The Jaguars lost 31-7.
Robinson is Jacksonville’s leading rusher with 482 yards to go with five touchdowns in seven starts this season.
The Jaguars (1-6) play the Buffalo Bills (5-2) this week.
An undrafted free agent, Robinson has rushed for 1,552 yards and 12 touchdowns in 21 career games for the Jaguars.
