Miami Dolphins wide receiver Preston Williams was carted off the field with an apparent leg injury during the first half Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.
Williams had a foot or ankle injury, according to a report from ESPN. The 23-year-old wideout had four receptions for 60 yards and a touchdown before he left the game.
Miami is vying for its fourth win in a row. Williams established an early rapport with rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa in the Dolphins’ passing attack.
Dolphins running back Matt Breida also was ruled out against the Cardinals because of a hamstring injury.
