Kansas City wide receiver Sammy Watkins continues to be bothered by a hamstring injury and will miss his fourth straight game on Sunday, the Chiefs said.
Watkins, 27, hasn’t played since the team’s Week 5 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. He returned to practice on Wednesday but had been listed as questionable.
In five games this season, Watkins has 21 catches for 222 yards and two touchdowns. He has eight receiving scores in two-plus seasons with the Chiefs and 33 career receiving touchdowns in 81 games with the Chiefs, Los Angeles Rams and Buffalo Bills.
The Chiefs (7-1) host the Carolina Panthers (3-5) on Sunday. The Panthers are expected to have running back Christian McCaffrey on the field for the first time since Week 2, when he sustained an ankle injury.
