Denver Broncos offensive guard Graham Glasgow will not play again this season after he fractured his left leg during Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.
The sixth-year player, who was a third-round draft pick out of Michigan by the Detroit Lions in 2016, was injured just before halftime Sunday and was carted off the field. He announced that his season was finished in a Twitter post.
“I’m extremely frustrated and saddened that this is the end of the season for me,” Glasgow wrote on Twitter. “With that being said, I know I’ll come back better and stronger than ever for next season. I appreciate all the well wishes and am grateful for all the support I’ve gotten.”
Glasgow, 29, started all seven games he played this season and has 78 starts in his 82 career games played. He has started every game he has played in since the start of the 2017 season.
After a three-game losing streak, the Broncos have won consecutive games, including Sunday’s convincing 30-16 victory at Dallas.
Broncos cornerback Pat Surtain is undergoing tests for a knee injury and offensive tackle Bobby Massie is dealing with an ankle injury. Both are expected to return this season.
