The Tigers’ home game against the Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday was postponed due to a forecast of severe inclement weather in the Detroit area.
The game will be made up as part of a straight doubleheader on Thursday. The first game will begin at 1:10 p.m. ET, and the second will start 40 minutes after its conclusion.
The Tigers had won four of six games before squandering a lead in the ninth to the Angels on Tuesday in a 7-6 setback in 10 innings.
The Angels have won six of their last seven games to move three games over .500.
