Buffalo Bills wide receiver Percy Harvin, who missed the recent trip to London, met with team doctors to re-evaluate his hip injury, according to reports Monday.

“He’s in the building, I think,” coach Rex Ryan said during Monday’s news conference. “He’s obviously in the training room a little today. We’ll see how it goes, but I know he wants to play and wants to contribute to this team.”

Harvin did not travel with the team to London two weeks ago because of what Ryan described as a personal issue. There were reports Harvin might contemplate retirement because he was frustrated by hip and knee injuries.

The Bills, coming off a bye week, are taking Harvin’s potential return as day by day, according to NFL Media.

Ryan said Monday he is “without question” confident in Harvin’s commitment to the team.

Harvin missed the past two games and has 19 catches for 218 yards and one touchdown this season.
