The Golden State Warriors reached an agreement to extend the contract of general manager Bob Myers through 2017-2018, according to reports.
Myers’ contract was set to expire at the end of next season.
Myers, 39, has been the Warriors’ GM since April 2012. The Warriors have reached the playoffs the past two seasons, with the team built around All-Star point guard Stephen Curry.
Myers and co-owner Joe Lacob oversaw the firing of Warriors coach Mark Jackson and the hiring of Steve Kerr this offseason.
