With two months of the regular season left, the Golden State Warriors are favored by the majority of Las Vegas sportsbooks to win the NBA title.
The Warriors are listed as a 12-5 favorite at William Hill’s Sportsbook, and more money has been bet on Steve Kerr’s squad than any other team.
Led by the backcourt duo of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, the Warriors have compiled a 42-9 record in the powerful Western Conference.
But LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are creeping up in the eyes of bettors. Despite struggling through the first 39 games, Cleveland as 19-20 after losing to Phoenix on Jan. 19 — the Cavs have come together to be the contender many thought when James decided to return home in the offseason.
As the second half of the season is about to start, Cleveland sit in fifth place in the Eastern Conference with a 33-22 record.
The Westgatge SuperBook lists the Cavs as 7-2 favorite to win the title with the Warriors listed at 4-1.
Sportbooks list the San Antonio Spurs and Atlanta Hawks as the other top contenders.
