Vikings sign third-round RB McKinnon

The Minnesota Vikings signed third-round pick Jerick McKinnon, a running back from Georgia Southern, to a four-year deal.

McKinnon, the 96th pick in the draft, would be in line to receive a total of $2,745,000 over the next four years, with a signing bonus of $515,000.

The 5-foot-9, 208-pound McKinnon started 31 of 47 collegiate games he played in, lining up at quarterback, wide receiver, running back and cornerback. He rushed for over 100 yards in 17 games, finishing his career at Georgia Southern with 3,899 rushing yards, 42 touchdowns on the ground in addition to 12 passing touchdowns and one TD reception.

With McKinnon’s signing, the Vikings have now signed their entire 2014 draft class.
