
The Memphis Grizzlies re-signed guard Beno Udrih to a multiyear contract on Tuesday.
The team did not disclose financial terms of the deal.
The 6-foot-3 Udrih averaged 4.9 points, 1.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 41 games, including 12 starts, for the New York Knicks and the Grizzlies last season.
After the Grizzlies picked up Udrih off waivers on Feb. 27, he played in 10 regular-season games for Memphis. Then in the first round of the playoffs against the Oklahoma City Thunder, he averaged 7.9 points, 1.7 assists and 1.7 rebounds per game. Udrih scored a career playoff-best 14 points in Game 2 of the series.
In 669 games during 10 seasons in the NBA, Udrih averages 8.8 points, 3.6 assists and 2.2 rebounds. He also has played for the San Antonio Spurs (winning NBA titles in 2005 and 2007), Sacramento Kings, Milwaukee Bucks and Orlando Magic.
The Spurs took the 31-year-old Udrih with the No. 28 overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft.
