Outfielder Rajai Davis was in the lineup for Game 1 of the American League Division Series against the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday in Baltimore despite a mild groin strain suffered near the end of the regular season.
Earlier this week, there were reports that Davis might be left off the ALDS roster because of concerns about the Grade 1 strain. But he worked out with the team on Wednesday without a problem.
Davis batted .282 with a .721 on-base percentage and 36 stolen bases in 134 regular-season games.
