Cincinnati’s Tommy Tuberville is a master at pulling the upset. That dates back to his early head coaching days at Ole Miss. But if Tubs’ team wants to knock off the high-powered Cougars, the Bearcats will need to run the rock, control the clock, limit mistakes and play at a high level defensively. And that’s a possibility due to the play of Cincy quarterback Hayden Moore, an underrated dual-threat, who has opened the season with a bang, and the Bearcats rushing attack, which is fueled by Tion Green and Mike Boone. Sure, Houston has dynamic quarterback Greg Ward Jr., a fantastic set of receivers and a defense that gets sacks and causes turnovers, but I have a funny feeling this will be a great ballgame. And if you need a stat to back that up, just remember this: the last three games between these two schools have been decided by a combined 18 points.
