The Houston Texans expect to activate running back Arian Foster from the physically unable to perform list and resume practicing on Sunday, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Foster sustained a calf strain during organized team activities in May and was placed on the PUP list at the start of training camp. The team has been cautious with Foster to minimize long-term risks related to the injury but he apparently is close to fully healthy.
Coach Gary Kubiak said that free safety Ed Reed is still not close to returning to practice after being placed on the PUP list because of offseason arthroscopic hip surgery.
