Ten days after Kris Humphries was acquired by the Suns in a trade with the Washington Wizards, Phoenix waived the veteran forward Sunday.

The Suns picked up Humphries, forward DeJuan Blair and a protected 2016 first-round pick from the Wizards in exchange for forward Markieff Morris.

Humphries, 31, played in four games for the Suns, starting three times. He averaged 7.3 points and eight rebounds.

In 28 games (14 starts) for Washington this season, he produced averages of 6.4 points and 4.1 rebounds.

Over 723 career NBA games (199 starts) for the Utah Jazz, Toronto Raptors, New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets, Boston Celtics, Wizards and Suns, Humphries averages 6.9 points and 5.6 rebounds.

Humphries, Jazz’s first-round draft pick (14th overall) in 2004, might be best known for his short-lived marriage to reality-TV star Kim Kardashian.
