The Phoenix Suns boosted their roster to 18 players on Wednesday after signing guard Deonte Burton, forward Kyle Casey, forward Cory Jefferson, center Henry Sims and guard Terrico White.
The 6-foot-9 Jefferson played in 50 games and started one for the Brooklyn Nets last season, averaging 3.7 points and 2.9 rebounds. He was drafted in the second round by the Suns in 2014.
Sims started 32 of the 73 games he played in last season for the Philadelphia 76ers, averaging 8.8 points and 4.9 rebounds. In four NBA seasons with the Sixers, Cleveland Cavaliers and New Orleans Pelicans, Sims has averaged 7.8 points and 4.9 rebounds in 121 games.
Burton, Casey and White all played abroad last season. The 6-1 Burton is the second-leading career scorer at Nevada, The 6-7 Casey played collegiately at Harvard and the 6-5 White spent last season in Russia.
