Wide receiver Paul Cox, an undrafted rookie out of Mississippi Valley State who was originally signed by the San Diego Chargers on April 30, signed with the Steelers.
Pittsburgh released offensive tackle Bridger Buche. He was an undrafted free agent this year out of Eastern Michigan. After missing the entire 2009 season with a hip injury, Buche started 12 games at left tackle in 2010 and all 10 games he appeared in last year.
