Steelers re-sign TE Palmer

Tight end Michael Palmer re-signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers, agreeing to a one-year contract.

Palmer bounced from the New York Giants to Seattle Seahawks in the 2013 offseason after three seasons with the Atlanta Falcons.

The Steelers claimed him off waivers in August 2013.

Palmer played in all 16 games last season, primarily on special teams. He had one reception for eight yards.

In three seasons with the Falcons (2010-12), Palmer started 5-of-43 games played during the regular season.
