The Pittsburgh Steelers listed quarterback Ben Roethlisberger as questionable for Sunday’ s game against the Cleveland Browns.
Roethlisberger sprained his left foot in last Sunday’ s game against the Oakland Raiders and was sporting a walking boot earlier in the week. The Steelers say he was a limited practice participant on Friday.
Pittsburgh has been preparing Landry Jones to be the starting quarterback most of the week. Jones started a game in Kansas City on Oct. 25 and the Steelers suffered a 23-13 defeat.
Pittsburgh has a bye following the Cleveland game so there has been speculation that the club might not play him against the Browns to give him more time to heal.
