San Antonio Spurs forward Stephen Jackson suffered a non-displaced fracture in his right little finger Monday, and he is expected to miss four to six weeks.
Jackson, who was playing in place of Kawhi Leonard, out due to left knee tendinitis, was hurt in the first quarter of the Spurs’ home game against the Los Angeles Clippers. He scored two points and grabbed two rebounds before exiting the game.
In nine games this season entering Monday, Jackson was averaging 8.3 points and 4.6 rebounds in 24.6 minutes.
The first half of the game in San Antonio included another injury. Clippers forward Caron Butler came out due to a right shoulder strain, and he was expected to miss the remainder of the game.
The Clippers led 47-42 at halftime.
