The Golden State Warriors needed to address their depth with all their recent dealing, and they appear to have done just that.
Forward Marreese Speights agreed to a three-year deal with the Warriors, Yahoo! Sports reported.
The amount of the salary remains unclear.
Speights decided not to opt into the final year of a contract with Cleveland that would have paid him $4,515,000.
It is possible the Warriors will try to arrange a sign-and-trade deal with the Cavaliers.
Speights averaged 10.2 points and 5.1 rebounds in 39 games for Cavs last season.
