Philadelphia 76ers center Jahlil Okafor underwent arthroscopic knee surgery on Tuesday, the club announced.
The procedure was to repair a slight tear of meniscus cartilage in Okafor’s right knee. He will immediately begin his rehabilitation program.
Okafor averaged 17.5 points and 7.0 rebounds in 53 games this season. He hasn’t played since Feb. 28.
